Suffocating in Claustrophobia Dystopia

April 8, 2020

The first evening, I couldn’t place the sound – it was either a helicopter or driving rain, I thought.

It proved to be people, collectively applauding the System of Fear.
At first, it was meant as a homage, a salute to the brave healthcare workers. Then it expanded into playing the national anthem, police cars going full throttle with their sirens, and then it became obvious that the cheering was aimed at the structure of law and order, keeping us all safe.

Now, at eight in the evening, the cheering has finally landed as an expression of gratitude towards the government and the powers they use to keep people protected, safe, and sound by putting them under house arrest in their 40m2 apartments, often with two parents and a couple of kids, not allowed to go anywhere, not even a walk with their kids. Dogs, for some reason, they can walk. But kids: No.

The domestic abuse level of women and children is up 125 percent.

People (government trolls) are pleading with their local prime ministers on social media asking them not to lift any sanctions.

It is a sneaky construct, tailormade in Hell, that the System of Fear has managed to put so much fear of God into its populations, that people losing their freedom are actually celebrating that same loss with more and more excessively expressed enthusiasm.

The Stockholm Syndrome reinforced. Stockholm syndrome is a condition in which hostages develop a psychological alliance with their captors during captivity. Emotional bonds may be formed, between captor and captives,

It’s been a month now and it will so far be a month more of keeping up the lockdown, for your own safety.

That day is on its way and it isn’t that far  now, come evening time round 8, where an eerie silence will enter. The applauding has gone silent.

People will, and we will, leave our–for most–voluntary cells, suffocating in claustrophobia dystopia. As the summer sun heats up the habitat, the urge for the relief of restraint will become stronger than their fear and they will just walk out into open spaces of relief.

They know that, and that is the only reason that they are contemplating “opening” society to some degree, while they say: Society will never return to pre-corona.

Let’s hope not.

Just another shitshow at the Fear Factory.

This is how they survive. They paint the world full of dangers and then tell the people to stay close to their safety. From their manufactured dangers, their reasons, their judgments. Because in freedom, there be chaos. But it isn’t true. We can prove that it isn’t true. In freedom, there is discovery, there is possibility, there is infinite creativity, there be Love.

And who has been so close to taking that back as we are right now?
